ARTS Spectrum Lecture Series
Sun, May 21st
ARTS Spectrum Series Presents: "Making Heads and Telling Tales"

On Sunday May 21st, Amanda Danning, a forensic sculptor
living in Columbus, Texas will present her talk "Making Heads and Telling Tales" about the reconstruction she has done of the skulls of several soldiers killed in the Battle of San Jacinto and how John James Audubon, the bird illustrator, became involved.
Legend and lore surround the 1836 Battle of San Jacinto.  New research and modern forensics help us understand where the legends come from and tell us more about the lives of the soldiers who died there.
This talk will be the second of a series of presentations in the ARTS' SPECTRUM Lecture Series.
The talk will be held on Sunday, May 21st at 4:00pm in the ARTS building on the square in Fayetteville, TX.
All are invited to attend; this is a free will donation event to benefit ARTS.  Refreshments will be served.
Come hear this extraordinary tale!
Please RSVP for a seat!
