Chef Lance Fegen Pop-Up
March 22 - April 7
Visit us for a taste of Houston for breakfast, lunch or dinner by way of Liberty Kitchen Chef Lance Fegen! Fegen, a talented 20 year + hospitality veteran will feature rotating daily menus made with fresh, in-season ingredients. Diners can expect handwiches, smoothies and smoked salmon delights for breakfast and lunch and dinner entrees such as Shrimp & Sausage Gumbo, Short Ribs in Rice Wine & Balinese Spices and Tuna Mignon with Sweet Indo Soy Butter.

Says Fegen, "at F.E.E.D. TX Restaurant Group, we've always been about having fun, and this pop-up will allow for a lot of playfulness in a different environment. I'll be making some Liberty Kitchen classics and throw in some surprises as well. We might, for instance, bring oysters from the Gulf in one day. Ultimately, we just want to nourish Round Top antique show goers and show them a good time reflective of the experience they would get at one of our restaurants here in Houston."

Faith P. and Charles L. Bybee Library Dedication and Open House
Saturday, March 24th
The Faith P. and Charles L. Bybee Library and Study Center at Round Top Festival Institute will be dedicated on Saturday, March 24. This newest addition to the Institute's Library and Museum Collections is located in the Festival Concert Hall Complex. Open House is from 2 pm to 5 pm. We kindly request an RSVP to rsvp@festivalhill.org or call the office at 979-249-3129 by March 20.

The Round Top Festival Institute Library and Museum Collections is home to the books of noted preservationists and collectors, Faith Bybee and her husband, Charles, who are best known for forming the Texas Pioneer Arts Foundation and Henkel Square in Round Top, Texas. Faith was a ceaseless collector of American antiques, early Texas furniture and material culture. The extensive collection traces the Bybee's interest in all things antique including historic tools and their uses, American silver and Federal furniture.

The Bybee Collection includes more than 800 books and periodicals that served as research material for Faith's many interests. Many of the books are inscribed by friends and colleagues. A particularly important signature is from Lady Bird Johnson.

Round Top Festival Institute has long been active in collecting books of similar interests with the intent to establish a world class research, study and reference library. Most noteworthy is the Dr. Dorman and Ruth Caroline Winfrey Collection, which contains many first edition J. Frank Dobie and Walter Prescott Webb books.
