Author Gary E. McKee will speak on where Fayette County stood with regard to the Civil War:  "Draft Resistance in Central Texas during the 1860's".  His conclusion may be different than what you may have heard to date.  BBQ lunch can be purchased until 1 pm for $10 a plate provided by Peters BBQ.
