Dear Cookers-The official applications for the 2015 Chili Cook Off are scheduled to be available on line at Ilovetoread.org,  as well as in the Round Top Family Library as of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 2.  They are very changed from former years, so look them over.  Directions will be on the bottom of the application.  You can either scan it back to me at harwood@cvctx.com, or fax it  (979-249-3615) or call me on the phone.  Printed copies will also be available at the library when it opens at 1:30 on Tuesday. If you have any problems, just call me at 979-249-3615 (Land Line) or 979-249-6374 (Cell).

This year, the first five teams to submit their application will be able to pick their spot ahead of time.   Others will be as always--first come first serve.  Some people don't much care where they are and others are very set on a particular spot.  If you want to be one of the first five applicants, please fill out and submit your application as soon as possible AFTER 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.  No applications will be accepted before that time.  TO BE ELIGIBLE YOU MUST FILL OUT THE LINE THAT ASKS FOR YOUR AUCTION DONATION.

Forever Plaid Tidings - A Christmas Musical by Stuart Ross - The hilarious, heavenly quartet returns to earth in this holiday treat wrapped up on a harmonious package with a big bow on top!  Thursday thru Sunday are the last performances...."Unity Theatre s presentation of Forever Plaid Tidings is packed full of all the Christmas warmth, nostalgia and fun anyone could ask for You ll be joyously swept along by the youthful exuberance of these four young men as they belt out song after song in perfect harmony While the singing, backed up by the superb piano playing of Rick Rowley, is the focal point, the action never stops. Neither does the laughter . My husband rarely tags a play as a must see. However, he says this show is just that "a must see. I have to agree with him. Forever Plaid Tidings delivers bright Christmas nostalgia in a beautiful package tied with a bow. I guarantee it will lift your spirits and make you smile." " Corinna Robinson
