Nation's Top Designers and Traditional Home Editors Attend Four-Day Fall Junket to Round Top, TX

Julie Dodson of Houston based Dodson Interiors is delivering a healthy dose of Texas chicness along with co-producer Ike Isenhour, a Dallas based International interior designer, in presenting a Designer Dream Spree at Round Top Festival September 25-28. The four-day junket is an intimate gathering of four nationally known interior designers - Michelle Nussbaumer, Barry Darr Dixon, Mary Douglas Drysdale and Kevin Isbell. Also joining the designers for the four days is Ann Maine, Editor in Chief of Traditional Home magazine, and Amy Elbert, Senior Architectural Editor. Each of the designers has been invited to sit on a panel to discuss the topic of "Exceptional Discoveries" and both editors will moderate.

The Last Stop Book Signing
September 30

Please join us at the beautiful Townsend Provisions to celebrate the launch of Ryann Ford's new book, The Last Stop: Vanishing Rest Stops of the American Roadside.

The book is a beautiful and haunting documentation of a forgotten, yet beloved slice of the American travel experience - the roadside rest stop. Ford spent over seven years on the road, traveling across 21 states, to capture as many of these iconic stops as possible before they were lost forever. It has been covered by CNN, The New York Times Magazine, Oprah Magazine, NPR and others.
