19th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes & Historical Places

The Round Top Area Historical Society is pleased to announce their 19th Season of 2016 Christmas Tour of Homes and Historical Places.

This event will be Saturday, December 3rd from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and includes 4 homes and the Bethlehem Lutheran Church as it celebrates its 150th year this year and is noted as being the oldest Lutheran Church in continuous service. 
The Homes on the Tour this year are Frank and Kathleen Johnston, Steve and Melanie Stringfellow,  William Elting and Charlotte Marschesseau, and Kenneth and Deborah Kainer Ripper.  These are all unique and/or historic, beautiful homes that are fantastic as they are dressed up in seasonal decoration. 

Tickets can be purchased before December 3rd at Round Top Real Estate from 9 am until 5 pm and can also be purchased on Saturday December 3rd at Round Top Real Estate as well as at the Round Top Historical Society behind the Post Office on the day of the event. Tickets are $15 per person, children under 10 are free.

The Nutcracker Ballet

Join us for our annual Christmas at Winedale! This mid-19th century folk life reenactment includes stagecoach rides, hay rides, mini-horse carriages, spinners, weavers, wood carvers, quilters, blacksmith, encampment, outdoor cooking, butter churning, music, square dancing, storytellers, crafts for children, etc.  The historic houses of Winedale Historical Complex will be decorated as they would have been in their time.  German Santa will be here!
