Kathy Durst Art Exhibit
January 4 - Feb 1st
Local artist Kathy Durst is a professional artist who dedicated years of her talent teaching the students of Fayetteville ISD and who, having retired just last June, now turns her entire focus on creating her own unique expressions on canvas.

Kathy's medium, created from intriguing shards of colorful paper, culminates in images layered with beauty and meaning. The current exhibit, "Tails from the Ark" features her quirky take on the animal world. Durst specializes in a mixture of painting and collage techniques that render her subjects both mysterious and accessible. Spiced with humor, Kathy's creations are simply a delight both to the eye and the heart.  Opening Reception is January 18 at 5:00 p.m.
